Nollywood actor Adeniyi Johnson has taken to his social media page to warn the public regarding an impersonation fraud utilising his identity.

Taking to his official Instagram page, Johnson revealed that someone in the United Kingdom (UK) has been impersonating him online.

Posting the screenshot of a chat with the impersonator, the Yoruba actor emphasised that he has no connection to the individual and does not permit any communication from them.

According to him, the phone number involved in the conversation is not his, noting that he does not conduct business through a personal manager or assistant.

He urged supporters and the public to ignore any messages, offers, or proposals associated with the impersonator and advised them to report the number, emphasising that such actions might damage his reputation

“Scam alert. I do not know this person or represent whatever he or she stands for. Never used this number, and for now, I have no manager or personal assistant.

“Please ignore chats or business proposals from him or her. I do not know him or her.  Please, let’s frustrate this number with calls and report it as well!”, he wrote.
