Imo State Governor and Director General of Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), Senator Hope Uzodimma, has inaugurated the Ondo State chapter of the campaign organisation championing the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Uzodimma, who was represented by the Southwest Coordinator of the group and Chairman of the Nigeria Port Authority (NPA), Prince Dayo Adeyeye, inaugurated Hon. Victor Olabimtan as the state Director General. He also inaugurated the 18 local government coordinators.

The Imo State Governor said President Tinubu deserves reelection because of the developmental projects he has embarked upon since he was elected in 2023. He listed the road projects, loans to students, and renovation and building of hospitals across the country.

In his speech, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa explained that participants were being positioned as frontline representatives of that national drive, stressing that the platform is operational rather than symbolic and designed to disseminate messages of reform, continuity, and progress across all local government areas, wards, communities, and households in Ondo State.

The governor maintained that the Renewed Hope Agenda is not abstract, but a re-engineered governance framework aimed at addressing structural economic and developmental challenges while laying a foundation for sustainable growth.

He highlighted key interventions in the state to include improved infrastructure connectivity, referencing the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and ongoing road evaluations extending to the Benin corridor, alongside agricultural revitalisation and renewed investor confidence.

Aiyedatiwa noted the state’s alignment with federal priorities in tourism development, the marine and blue economy, and industrial expansion, describing synergy between federal policy direction and state implementation as critical to the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

He charged the newly inaugurated ambassadors and coordinators across the 18 local government areas to ensure disciplined, structured, and credible grassroots engagement, stressing that mobilisation must be anchored on organisation, consistency, and integrity.

According to him, “mobilisation is not noise-making but structure,” adding that effective political communication requires coordination and clarity of message.

He urged participants to engage citizens in relatable language, including local dialects, while upholding discipline, unity, loyalty, and service in their assignments.

Aiyedatiwa said the ultimate objective is to build a functional statewide political network capable of translating support into electoral victory, reiterating that the central goal remains the re-election of President Tinubu in 2027.

Reaffirming political alignment, he declared that “Nigeria must not go back to Egypt,” noting that mobilisation efforts had already commenced in earnest.

He commended the leadership of the initiative under Senator Hope Uzodinma, whom he described as central to its coordination framework, alongside other governors and the national leadership of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors.

Responding on behalf of the other coordinators, Olabimtan described the initiative as a civic enlightenment platform designed to bridge communication gaps between government policies and citizens, counter misinformation, and ensure wider public awareness of ongoing reforms.

Olabimtan disclosed that the launch marks the beginning of coordinated statewide outreach to deepen awareness of government programmes and strengthen grassroots participation in governance.

He said the RHA would operate through a structured network of government information channels, party structures, and grassroots ambassadors across wards and polling units, with over 400 canvassers and 25 local units already set for deployment.

He highlighted key achievements of the Tinubu administration, including infrastructure expansion, student loan schemes, improved passport processing, and growing investor confidence, noting that ongoing projects like the Lagos–Calabar Superhighway reflect long-term development planning.

He added that although challenges remain, Nigeria is far from where it was, stressing that reforms are already producing visible results.

He stressed that the initiative is not only for mobilisation but also for ensuring unity of message within the APC and strengthening public trust in governance.

According to him, “the RHA will carry out town halls, market outreach, and community engagements to translate government policies into simple, accessible information while gathering feedback from citizens”

“The goal is one message, one direction, and one coordinated mobilisation to ensure Nigerians fully understand and benefit from government reforms.”
