Tinubu Wins Zamfara APC Primary Election With Landslide Victory


President Ahmed Bola Tinubu has emerged as the winner of the Presidential Primary Elections conducted across the fourteen Local Government Areas of Zamfara State.

The Chief Returning Officer of the Presidential Primary Elections, Governor Dauda Lawal, who made the declaration at the collation centre, Government House, Gusau, said President Tinubu has emerged the winner with a total number of 321,631 votes against his opponent, Stanley Isifor, who scored only 42 votes.

“I Dauda Lawal, the collation officer of the 2026 All Progressives Congress Presidential Primary Elections for Zamfara State, hereby present the results as follows: total number of party registered members, 365,796; total number of accredited votes stands at 322,435, while total number of votes cast, 321,621.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who emerged the winner, scored 321,575, while his rival, Stanley Isifor, emerged defeated by scoring only 42 votes in the exercise, thereby declaring Tinubu the winner of the Presidential Primary Elections in Zamfara State”, Governor Lawal has announced.
