Tinubu Emerges Victorious In A’Ibom


President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has emerged victorious in the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Primary Election held across Akwa Ibom State on Saturday.

The result was announced by the State Collation Officer, Governor Umo Eno, who declared that President Tinubu secured an overwhelming majority of 389,197 votes cast by party delegates across the state.

Governor Eno commended party faithful for the peaceful and orderly conduct of the exercise, describing the outcome as a reflection of the confidence and support President Tinubu continues to enjoy among APC members in Akwa Ibom State.

The primary election witnessed massive participation by delegates and stakeholders from the 31 local government areas of the state.
