Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has emerged as the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for Kaduna State in the 2027 general election after receiving 459,393 affirmation votes at the party’s primary yesterday.
Sani contested as the sole aspirant and received endorsement from delegates and stakeholders across the state’s 23 local government areas. Party leaders described the outcome as a vote of confidence in his leadership and performance.
The exercise, monitored by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, drew top APC officials, elected representatives, and supporters to the venue.
Chairman of the Kaduna APC Governorship and House of Assembly Primary Election Committee, Hon. Hafiz Ibrahim Kawu, said the process was peaceful, transparent, and reflected growing unity within the party ahead of 2027.
