Faleke Celebrates Hamzat’s APC Gov’ship Ticket Victory, Rallies Support For Tinubu


Member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, James Faleke, has congratulated the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, after he emerged as the All Progressives Congress (APC), governorship candidate for the 2027 general elections.

Faleke disclosed that Hamzat secured 657,917 votes out of 657,974 votes cast during the party’s governorship primary election.

He described the outcome as a reflection of the overwhelming support enjoyed by the APC across Lagos State.

According to the lawmaker, party faithful and supporters from Epe and other parts of the state came out in large numbers to demonstrate their loyalty to the APC and President Bola Tinubu.

He expressed optimism that the unity and harmony within the party would strengthen its chances ahead of the 2027 elections, particularly in securing the re-election of President Tinubu and the emergence of Hamzat as the next governor of Lagos State.

Faleke added that the APC remained committed to mobilising support across the state to ensure victory for all its candidates in the forthcoming polls.

He also prayed for continued peace, unity, and progress in Lagos State and Nigeria as preparations intensify for the 2027 general elections.
