Nollywood actress Etinosa Idemudia has taken to her social media page to warn certain individuals not to share her direct conversations online, even if she dies.
The outspoken actress made this remark in a recent podcast while condemning the practice as dishonest among industry colleagues.
Idemudia chastised coworkers for ignoring messages and calls for collaboration while a person is still living, only to post unanswered direct messages and heartfelt tributes after their passing.
“All those people who post people’s DM when they are dead, if you post my DM, I’ll wake up, slap you and go back to the grave. Don’t try it,” she said.

She specifically called out movie producers and colleagues who decline to work with actors during their lifetime but later post messages claiming they had looked forward to a collaboration.
“DM that you didn’t reply, my enemy will die now. If you try it and post that ‘Oh, we should have worked together, I was looking forward to working with you,’ what I will do to you in your dream, you wouldn’t believe it,” she added.
Her remarks coincide with online condolences in the wake of actor Alex Ekubo’s passing, where celebrities recounted their final exchanges with him.
Social media users’ responses to the comments have been conflicting; many concur that some posthumous tributes are offered for attention rather than out of true grief.
