Egba-Obafemi Prestige Country Club Endorses Yayi For Ogun 202

The Egba-Obafemi Prestige Country Club, EOPCC, has endorsed Sen. Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, Yayi, as the All Progressives Congress gubernatorial flag bearer for Ogun State in the 2027 general election.

In a statement signed by Olusiji Oyesile on behalf of the socio-cultural association of sons and daughters of Obafemi in Obafemi Owode Local Government, the club said the endorsement is “proudly and wholeheartedly” given. “This honour is richly deserved,” the statement read.

“Senator Adeola’s emergence reflects the wide acceptance, credibility, and goodwill he enjoys, not only among partisan political actors, but also across the spectrum of the sophisticated, enlightened, and development-minded citizenry of Ogun State.”

The group described Adeola’s nomination as “a strong testament to a leadership profile built on competence, commitment, accessibility, and an enduring passion for service.”

“Over the years, Distinguished Senator Adeola has demonstrated a remarkable grasp of governance and public responsibility, inspiring confidence among diverse groups and communities,” the statement said.

“His acceptance across different settings underscores the trust people repose in his ability to provide purposeful, inclusive, and peopleoriented leadership for our dear state.”

EOPCC said it is aligning with what it called “this growing trust and collective expectation.” The club expressed hope that under Adeola’s administration, “groups and communities that have long remained neglected or underrepresented will be deliberately mainstreamed into the developmental agenda of the government.”
