Ajadi Celebrates Adekanmbi, Commends Commitment To Disability Inclusion In Oyo

A leading gubernatorial aspirant in Oyo State on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Amb. Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo has extended warm birthday felicitations to the Director-General of the Oyo State Agency for Persons with Disabilities (OYSAPWD), Barrister Ayodele Adekanmbi, on the occasion of his birthday, celebrated on Friday, April 24, 2026.

In a congratulatory message made available to journalists, Ajadi described Adekanmbi as a compassionate public servant and a tireless advocate for the rights and welfare of persons living with disabilities in Oyo State.

“Today, I celebrate not just your birth, but your impactful life of service, dedication, and unwavering commitment to humanity,” Ajadi said.

“Your leadership at OYSAPWD has continued to give hope, voice, and visibility to a critical segment of our society that deserves inclusion, dignity, and equal opportunity.”

The PDP gubernatorial aspirant noted that Adekanmbi’s tenure has been marked by purposeful advocacy, policy-driven initiatives, and a renewed focus on inclusiveness, which, according to him, aligns with global best practices on disability rights.

Ajadi further praised the celebrant’s resilience and passion, stating that his work has contributed significantly to shaping a more inclusive Oyo State where no citizen is left behind.

“As you mark another year, I pray that Almighty God grants you more wisdom, strength, and good health to continue your noble service to humanity. Oyo State and indeed Nigeria need more individuals like you—selfless, visionary, and committed to uplifting others,” he added.

He also reaffirmed his belief in building a society where governance prioritises the vulnerable, stressing that disability inclusion would remain a key focus in his vision for Oyo State.

Adekanmbi, a legal practitioner and public administrator, has been widely recognised for his role in advancing policies and programs that protect the rights of persons with disabilities, while promoting accessibility, empowerment, and social integration across the state.

The birthday message has since drawn commendations from political stakeholders and advocacy groups, many of whom described the gesture as a reflection of growing awareness and support for disability inclusion in governance and public discourse.

As celebrations continue, many observers say Adekanmbi’s work stands as a reminder that leadership, when driven by empathy and purpose, can transform lives and strengthen communities.
