Zamfara NSCDC Deploys 643 Personnel


The Zamfara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), under the leadership of CC Sani Mustapha, has announced the deployment of 643 operational personnel across the state to bolster security and ensure peaceful and secure Eid celebrations.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Spokesperson of the NSCDC Zamfara Command, ASCI Umar Mohammad M., saying these deployments effectively cover the Eid festivities (pre, active, and post), with the strategic aim of actively strengthening security presence at Eid-grounds, the protection of lives and critical infrastructure across the 14 local government areas of the state.

According to the statement, the state commandant calls for extensive operational coverage, discipline, consistency and the display of professionalism from all personnel to achieve peace and order efficiently.

CC Sani Mustapha reaffirmed that, NSCDC under the distinctive leadership of the Commandant General, Prof. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR, the Corps is committed to deliver on its mandates and that, Zamfara State command will not relent; he reassured the civil populace of the Corps’ resolute obligation of protecting lives, property and critical infrastructure; noting, any perpetrator apprehended shall face the ramifications of his/her action.

“The state commandant felicitates and wishes the Muslim faithful a successful and fulfilling Eid-ul-Adha celebration. “May the sacrifices and good prayers through the festivities be answered, and may the Beneficent grant us everlasting peace,” the statement added.
