United States President, Donald Trump has criticized late-night host, Jimmy Kimmel over remarks made on his television show, escalating tensions between political figures and entertainment media.
In a statement shared on his social media, Trump accused Kimmel of presenting misleading content involving his wife, Melania Trump and his son, Barron Trump.
He alleged that the show used a fake video to depict them as being present in the studio.

Trump also took issue with comments he attributed to Kimmel regarding the First Lady, describing them as inappropriate and offensive.
He further linked the incident to broader concerns about rhetoric in media and public discourse.
The remarks come in the wake of heightened attention around the White House Correspondents’ Dinner held on Saturday.
Calling the situation “beyond the pale,” Trump urged major broadcasters ABC and its parent company, The Walt Disney Company to take immediate action against the late-night host.
