President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Fatima Suleiman as the Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the National Biosafety Management Agency (NBMA).
The appointment, conveyed in a letter dated April 17, 2026, and signed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, takes effect from April 16, 2026.
According to the letter, Suleiman will serve an initial term of four years in line with the provisions of the National Biosafety Management Agency Act, 2015.
