Pastor Dolapo Lawal of Zoehousehold Global has advised Nigerians who lack stable finances not to spend a lot of money on weddings.
Pastor Lawal, who spoke during a sermon, stated that it was foolish to spend N10 million to N20 million on wedding ceremonies if one did not own a car or other beneficial assets.

In Nigeria, he pointed out, a car may be a business potential because it could be utilised for ride-hailing services during hard times.
Lawal advised his followers to put sensible investments and financial stability ahead of lavish wedding festivities.
His words in part: “You shouldn’t be spending N20 Million on a wedding if you don’t have a car, because right now in Nigeria, a car is a business opportunity.
“The day you’re hungry, you can use it for Uber. You have no business spending 15 million or 10 million on any wedding.”
