PDP Announces Date For 103rd NEC Meeting, Limits Attendance


The Peoples Democratic Party has announced that its 103rd National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting will hold on Monday, May 4, 2026, following a resolution endorsed by two-thirds of NEC members.

According to the notice shared on its verified social media platform on Saturday, the meeting will take place at 2:00 p.m., in line with the provisions of Section 31 of the party’s constitution, after due communication with the Independent National Electoral Commission.

The party stated that attendance is strictly limited to statutory NEC members.

These include PDP state governors, members of the National Assembly within the PDP caucus, members of the Board of Trustees (BoT), state chairmen, national ex-officio members, former National Working Committee (NWC) members, former governors, principal officers of the National Assembly, and other designated stakeholders.

The PDP emphasized that the NEC remains committed to ensuring the stability, unity, and success of the party, anchored on internal democracy, discipline, inclusiveness, and the welfare of Nigerians.
