No Winner, No Loser In Our Party

The Kwara State All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship candidate, Engineer Salihu Yakubu Danladi (SYD), has declared that his victory at the primary is a success of all other aspirants and members of the party in the State.

“We need to thank God Almighty for where we are. In APC, we are all one. There is no winner, there is no loser. We are all winners. I need to thank Kwarans for standing by Kwara North,” the speaker said while speaking with journalists shortly after he was declared the winner of the primary election.

Yakubu thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for supporting his emergence as the candidate of the party.

“I would thank Mr. President. He is truly the Jagaban of Borgu. One, this is the first time since 1999 that a Borgu kingdom will have a governorship candidate from a ruling party.

“And sincerely, we thank His Excellency, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the father of the nation, for looking at where he got the Jagaban of Borgu, and taking it to that side.

“We also need to thank Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. He’s a man of his word. He’s a leader. He’s a transformer. And he has done very well across different sectors,” the Speaker said.

Yakubu promised to build on the legacies of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to move the State to greater heights.

“We are part and parcel of this administration. As a speaker for almost seven years today, I’m practically a part of all the policies of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. All I need to say is legacy continues and our state will be better for it,” he added.
