Do Not To Keep Grudges In Marriages, Yul Edochie Urges Men

Nollywood actor, turned Minister, Yul Edochie has advised men to refrain from harbouring resentment toward their spouses.

Stressing there is a need for communication in marriage, the Nigerian actor, who spoke on his verified X handle, suggested that couples should have one-on-one talks to settle disputes.

Edochie added that men should deal with their spouses immediately rather than harbouring animosity because they are the heads of the household.

According to him, couples may only identify the source of an issue through conversation, saying a wife’s behaviour may be her fault or a response to anything her husband did.

Speaking further, he said that real men talk about challenging topics regardless of how difficult they are, whereas weak men steer clear of them.

“Men, don’t keep malice with your wife. You’re the head of your home. No matter what your wife does to you, have a one-on-one conversation with her about it, tell her your mind and iron things out.

“It might be her fault, or she could be reacting to something you did to her.

“You can only find out when you communicate. Weak men avoid difficult conversations. Real men discuss issues no matter how tough they are. Communication is highly essential in marriage”, he wrote.

His comments come amid ongoing online discussions about allegations involving media personality Frank Edoho, whose marriage to his second wife, Sandra, reportedly broke down over claims he kept malice with her.
