Mercy Aigbe Heaps Praises On Sola Sobowale


Nollywood actress and producer Mercy Aigbe has taken to her social media page to heap praises on veteran Nigerian actress, Sola Sobowale, describing her as a power icon in the entertainment industry.

Recounting their first encounter and collaboration in an Instagram post, Mercy Aigbe said Sobowale is indeed an amazing woman, an icon, a powerhouse, and a true inspiration.

Sharing a vintage video of them on set, Aigbe expressed gratitude to the 60-year-old actress for giving her the chance to appear in the film Ohun Oko Somida and for believing in her.

According to Aigbe, the incident dates back to her early years in the field and continues to play a big role in her professional development.

“Throwback to one of my early days in the industry. The very first time I met and worked alongside this incredible woman, @solasobowale … an icon, a powerhouse, and a true inspiration.

“Thank you, ma, for this opportunity and for trusting me with this role in your movie OHUN OKO SOMIDA. Grateful for moments like this that became part of my journey”, she said.
