NIMASA Chairman Congratulates Gov Sani On APC Primary Victory

The Chairman of the Board of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr Yusuf Hamisu Abubakar Mairago, has congratulated the Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, following Sani’s affirmation as the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate for the 2027 Kaduna State governorship election.

Dr Mairago described the affirmation of Governor Sani as a clear demonstration of the confidence, trust and overwhelming support the members and stakeholders of the APC in Kaduna State have in the leadership and developmental strides of the governor within the last three years in office.

According to him, the outcome of the primary election reflects the collective belief of party members that Governor Uba Sani remains the best man to continue steering the affairs of Kaduna State toward greater progress, peace and development.

Mairago commended the leadership and members of the APC across the 23 local government areas of Kaduna State for conducting themselves peacefully and maturely throughout the primary election process.

He noted that the unity displayed by party faithful during the exercise has further strengthened the APC as a formidable political force ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The NIMASA Board Chairman stated that Governor Uba Sani has recorded tremendous achievements since assuming office as governor of Kaduna State, stressing that his administration has touched virtually every sector of the state’s economy and governance.

“Governor Uba Sani has done tremendously well within the last three years. There is hardly any sector in Kaduna State that his administration has not touched positively in terms of development.

From infrastructure, security support, healthcare, education, rural development, youth empowerment, road construction and social intervention programs, the governor has demonstrated purposeful and people-oriented leadership”, Mairago said.

He further added that no local government area in Kaduna State has been left behind in the developmental projects and policies of the current administration, noting that Governor Uba Sani has continued to promote inclusiveness and fairness in governance.

Dr Mairago therefore called on the people of Kaduna State to continue supporting the governor and re-elect him in 2027 to enable him to consolidate on the achievements already recorded and continue delivering democratic dividends to the citizens.

“All APC members and supporters must remain united and focused on the re-election of Governor Uba Sani. What the party needs at this moment is togetherness, understanding and commitment toward ensuring victory for the APC in 2027″, he stated.

Speaking further on the recently concluded APC primary elections for the National Assembly, State Assembly and Senate positions, Dr Mairago appealed to aspirants who were unsuccessful during the primaries to accept the outcome in good faith and remain committed to the growth and success of the APC.

He encouraged party members not to allow political differences to divide the party, emphasising that politics is a continuous process filled with opportunities for everyone.

“Those who are losers today can become winners tomorrow. Politics should never be seen as a do-or-die affair”, he advised, urging all aspirants and their supporters to work together for the progress of this great party and the development of Kaduna State”.

Dr Mairago also praised the APC leadership at both the state and national levels for ensuring a transparent and peaceful primary election process, while expressing optimism that the APC would emerge stronger and more united ahead of the 2027 elections.

He reaffirmed his commitment as a stakeholder of the APC in Kaduna State to continue supporting initiatives and programs that will promote peace, unity, political stability and sustainable development across the state.
