Maku, Abbo, Others Obtain Labour Party Nomination Forms


Former Minister of Information, Labaran Maku and Ishaku Abbo, are among aspirants contesting the 2027 general elections on the platform of the Labour Party.

Maku, former Nasarawa State deputy governor, is contesting for Nasarawa North Senatorial District; while Abbo is aspiring for the governorship of Adamawa State.

The former minister expressed confidence that he would emerge victorious in the elections.

He said: “The Labour Party has won the confidence and support of Nigerians, and I am convinced that the party will emerge victorious in the next general elections, from the presidency to the governorship elections where the party has firmly established itself as a household name in many states, particularly in Nasarawa State and across my Senatorial District where the people remain determined to ensure the victory of the party in the forthcoming senatorial and other elections in the state.”
