Mavin Records founder, Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, has narrated how he realised Ayra Starr would become famous.

Don Jazzy, who spoke in a recent podcast interview with Creatorium, recounted finding the vocalist and realising almost instantly that she was unique.

According to him, he has heard several renditions of Ayra Starr singing “2Face’s,” which caught his attention in particular.

Speaking on the programme, Don Jazzy revealed, “It didn’t take a minute.”

“At the time that she came into the game, you could tell that a new character had been unlocked that we had never seen before,” Don Jazzy added.
