Lalong Celebrates Ex-Deputy Speaker, Wase On His Birthday


The Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District and former Governor of Plateau State, Senator Simon Bako Lalong, has felicitated with the former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Idris Wase, on the occasion of his birthday.

Senator Lalong, in a press statement, signed and described Rt. Hon. Wase is an accomplished legislator, a committed public servant, and a dependable leader who has distinguished himself through years of dedicated service to his constituents, Plateau State, and the nation at large.

The former Governor recalled their longstanding relationship and collaboration, particularly in nurturing and strengthening the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau State.

He noted that Rt. Hon. Wase has remained steadfast in advancing the ideals of the party and promoting good governance through his legislative responsibilities.

Lalong commended the Member representing Wase Federal Constituency for his experience, maturity, and contributions to the growth of democracy, describing him as a leader whose counsel and commitment to public service continue to inspire many.

As he celebrates another year, Senator Lalong prayed that Almighty God will continue to bless Rt. Hon. Wase with good health, wisdom, peace, and stability, granting him many more years of fruitful service to humanity and the nation.

He wished him a happy birthday and continued success in all his endeavours.
