Nigerian streamer and celebrity boxing match winner Carter Efe has expressed frustration over the delay in receiving his N50 million prize money.

The 24-year-old content creator urged the organisers of the show to release the N50 million payment without further delay.

New Telegraph had earlier reported that Carter Efe secured the win against Nigerian Afrobeats singer Portable in the highly publicised fight held at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Victoria Island, on Friday.

After the match, Portable said he was cheated, claiming the judges’ decision was predetermined by organisers to avoid paying out an alleged N23 billion in fan bets placed on his victory.

In a recent livestream, Carter Efe addressed the organisers, stating that he has not received his N50 million prize despite the risks he took to win the fight.

Taking to his social media page, he wrote, “Dem never give me my money oo. I never see N50 million ooo. I nearly died for that fight; I never saw the N50 million. Make dem pay me the N50 million ooo.
