Nollywood actress and musician, Adesua Etomi-Wellington, has opened up about her wish for a partner after almost ten years of marriage.

Adesua, the wife of a celebrated RnB singer turned politician and Pastor, spoke in a recent interview with Teju Babyface alongside her husband, saying their love is still increasing.

According to Adesua, although Banky W wasn’t her ideal partner due to his professional path, she ended up with him because of divine intervention.

“Before I met my husband, I told God I didn’t want to marry a musician, a pastor or a politician, but God gave me all three,” she said.

Reacting to his wife’s comment, Banky W said that Adesua acknowledged him as her spouse following multiple denials.

He clarified that although he had knew she was his wife for a year and a half, he had been waiting for her to agree.

“Adesua called me on the phone one day and said, Banky, you know you’re my husband, right?” he added.

The singer claimed that Adesua’s affirmation strengthened his own beliefs, and the two were married.

New Telegraph recalls that in 2017, the couple got married. They had two children together.
