Global Ministry TEAM Marks 20th Anniversary


The Evangelical Ark Mission (TEAM) International recently celebrated its 20th anniversary in the Philippines. The ceremony was themed “Undeniable Increase.” drew thousands of worshippers, government leaders, and international guests to the event that lasted 14 days.

TEAM, widely regarded as one of the largest Christian congregations in Asia and the Philippines, is led by Bishop Tony Marioghae. The 14-day gathering was held at the TEAM Convention Center in Las Piñas City.

The anniversary conference featured international keynote speakers, including Bishop Noel Jones (USA), Apostle Matheus Busto (Brazil), Dr. Akwasi Oppong Amoabeng, Dr. Roberts Liardon, and His Excellency Tamrat Layne Admassu, the former Prime Minister of Ethiopia.

Also ministering were Dr. Tun Boon Chiam, Hon. Adeshina Edward Oloje — Chargé d’Affaires from the Embassy of Nigeria in the Philippines — Bishop Ricardo Sio, and Bishop Tony Marioghae himself.

The event commemorated a journey that began with a small group of seven people and a vision imparted to Nigerian missionary and reformer Bishop Tony Marioghae.

Today, TEAM reports a global network of hundreds of pastors and a membership in the hundreds of thousands, with church plants and ministry centers spanning every continent.

Attendees also included elected and appointed officials from the Philippines. Governor Lray Villafuerte of Camarines Sur attended with family members, alongside Congressman Luigi Villafuerte and former lawmaker Daisy Reyes-Tobias.

Las Piñas City Mayor Hon. April Aguilar was also present and publicly recognized TEAM for what she described as the church’s transformative impact on the city.

Throughout the conference, speakers and ministry leaders cast a bold vision for applying biblical principles to leadership, governance, business, and community development. Organizers described the event as a platform to set ambitious spiritual and developmental goals for individuals, organizations, cities, and nations
