Abiodun Congratulates Efuwape, Commends Peaceful APC Reps Primaries


Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun has commended members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for their peaceful conduct during the House of Representatives primary election.

In a statement shared after the primaries on Saturday, Abiodun appreciated party members and supporters for their loyalty, discipline, and commitment, noting that their active participation reaffirmed the strength of the APC across all levels.

He stated that the successful conduct of the exercise marks the beginning of a series of key democratic processes within the party, with senatorial primaries scheduled to follow, alongside House of Assembly, governorship, and presidential primaries in the coming days.

The governor also commended electoral officials, including members of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), as well as security agencies, for ensuring a peaceful, transparent, and credible process.

Abiodun congratulated Funmi Efuwape on her emergence as the APC candidate for the Remo Federal Constituency, describing her victory as a testament to the confidence reposed in her leadership and commitment to public service.

He expressed optimism that Efuwape would provide quality representation and serve her constituents with diligence, integrity, and excellence.

The governor further appreciated party stakeholders for their continued support and cooperation, urging members to remain united as the party prepares for subsequent stages of its electoral process.
