Members of the National Assembly Primary Election Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have commended the peaceful and transparent conduct of the party’s primary election in Ondo State, expressing satisfaction with the orderly process across monitored wards.
The committee gave the commendation while monitoring the exercise in parts of Akure South Local Government Area and Akure North Local Government Area.
Speaking at Oke-Aro/Irowo 2, Ward 9 in Akure South, Chairman of the committee, Iboroma Harry Dabibi, urged party members to maintain peace and conduct themselves responsibly throughout the process.

He warned against violence and actions capable of creating tension, stressing that the success and credibility of any election depend largely on a peaceful atmosphere.
“There should be no violence. If there is no peace, there will be no winner,” he said.
Dabibi explained that members of the committee were deployed to ensure the exercise remained free, fair, and transparent across the state, adding that the panel was impressed with the conduct and discipline displayed by voters.
“We appreciate you for conducting yourselves well. We are impressed with what we have seen. It is by choice, and once the result is accepted by all, the aspirant with majority votes carries the day,” he added.
