A Tested Voice For Oye/Ikole: Why Bimbo Daramola Deserves Another Mandate

As the 2027 elections gather momentum and the APC primaries approach in Ekiti State, this is not a time for uncertainty or experimentation.

It is a time to stand firmly with leadership that has been tested and proven. Congressman Bimbo Daramola represents that standard.

Having represented Oye/Ikole Federal Constituency from 2011 to 2015, he left behind more than memories—he left impact.

Through empowerment initiatives, support for education, improved access to healthcare, and sustained constituency engagement, he demonstrated what purposeful representation looks like.

The hospital he facilitated continues to serve the people, providing care for the sick. Beneficiaries of his free UTME, WAEC, and NECO support have gone on to become graduates and professionals. His empowerment programmes continue to sustain women and youths across the constituency.

He was present, accessible, and responsive—never disconnected from the people he served.

What truly distinguishes him is his grassroots strength and political will. He understands the terrain, commands respect across communities, and has demonstrated the capacity to deliver even under pressure. As the saying goes, a golden fish has no hiding place.

As he seeks to return to the House of Representatives as a ranking member, I call on the founding leaders of the APC and stakeholders in Ekiti State particularly across the 24 wards of Oye/Ikole  to rally behind one of their own, a longtime progressive who has paid his dues.

This is not a sentimental choice; it is a strategic one grounded in experience, credibility, and results.

Oye/Ikole is rich in talent and aspiration, but leadership requires more than potential—it requires proof. In Bimbo Daramola, the constituency has a candidate with a tested record of service, ready to deliver again—stronger, smarter, and with renewed energy.

The choice is clear. The moment is now.

Oye/Ikole, stand with Bimbo Daramola.
