As the All Progressives Congress (APC) prepares for its National Primaries, the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Niger State have refuted claims that the north is not supporting the second-term aspiration of President Bola Tinubu.
The State Coordinator, Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Nma Kolo, made this disclosure on Wednesday, saying the narrative is far from the truth.
According to him, “The North, including Niger State, is fully aligned with President Tinubu’s vision and leadership.
“The President has demonstrated fairness and commitment to the North through strategic projects, appointments, and policies that address our peculiar challenges, especially in agriculture and security.
“Traditional rulers and community leaders in Niger State have publicly expressed their confidence in the President, and that support will translate into strong backing for his second term.”
While speaking on how the people have received the Agenda, Kolo said the message of Renewed Hope is resonating very positively with Nigerlites, adding that “it has given the people a renewed sense of confidence and inclusion in national development.
Accordingly, he said, “Across Niger State, from Minna to the rural communities, citizens are embracing the agenda because it prioritises agriculture, food security, infrastructure, and youth empowerment.
“Traditional rulers, women’s groups, and youths have all expressed optimism that Tinubu’s administration is building a foundation for sustainable growth”.
The former Special Adviser, Political and Strategy, to Governor Umaru Bago, also explained that the reason there are currently no campaign billboards and visible posters of President Bola Tinubu in Niger State is that the administration focuses more on governance than on politicking.
“We, the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, are concentrating on grassroots sensitisation and showing citizens the impact of federal programs in communities.
“When the official campaign period begins, Nigerlites will witness a well-structured and peaceful mobilisation that reflects the unity and strength of the APC,” he said.
Furthermore, he stated that with the current economic reality and insecurity, President Tinubu has taken bold and courageous steps to reposition the economy for long-term prosperity.
“By 2027, the impact of these reforms will be more visible, and Nigerlites will stand firmly behind a government that has shown sincerity and commitment to their welfare”, Kolo disclosed.
