Yul Edochie Recounts Final Moments With Late Son


Nollywood actor,  Yul Edochie has recounted last momentd he had with his first son, Kambilichukwu Edochie, before the teenager passed away in 2023.

In an interview with Glitch Africa Studios’ Honest Bunch Podcast, Edochie stated that the day started out as usual at home when his son visited his room in the morning where they spent time chatting and joking before heading off to school.

Edochie claimed that the boy’s height was the main topic of their discussion, pointing out that his kid had grown to be almost his height.

Edochie claimed that he was called to a hospital around three hours after his son had left.

Unaware of what had transpired, he hurried there and found his son dead.

The actor described the shift from a routine morning at home to the hospital as sudden and painful.

“That was my first son. That morning, he came into my room before going to school. We talked and joked about his height because he was quite tall. We gisted and laughed, then he left. About three hours after they called me, I came to the hospital and I saw him dead like this,” Edochie said.

Kambilichukwu, the son of Yul and May Edochie, died in March 2023 after collapsing and suffering a seizure while playing football at school.
