President Bola Tinubu has approved the deployment of four (4) Federal Permanent Secretaries, who were earlier appointed and sworn in.
This strategic deployment was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen governance, enhance service delivery, and ensure effective policy implementation in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda.
According to Mrs Eno Olotu, Director of Information & Public Relations, Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF), the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries who emerged through a competitive selection process brought a wealth of experience, expertise, and innovation to their new roles.
Their posting was designed to optimise performance, foster inter-ministerial collaboration, and drive sustainable development across key sectors of the economy.
The Permanent Secretaries and their assigned offices were Mrs Bekearedebo Augusta Warrens, (Bayelsa State), Political and Economic Affairs, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation; Dr. Kamil Ayinde Shoretire, (Ogun State), Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment; Mrs Nkiruka Bella Jones-Nebo, (Enugu State), Career Management Office, Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation and Mr Sani Yargaya Aminu, (Kano State) Special Services Office, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs Didi Esther Walson-Jack, congratulated the new Permanent Secretaries and urged them to bring their expertise to bear in their new assignments.
She emphasised the importance of professionalism, accountability, and result-oriented leadership in achieving the Federal Government’s developmental goals.
