The Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) has unveiled Sunday Falae as its senatorial candidate for the Ondo Central senatorial district of Ondo State.

Apart from Falae, the party also produced Olujide Olurankinse and Oluwatosin Eniola, who received APM tickets for the positions of Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency and Ondo State House of Assembly, respectively.

The organising committee, headed by Tugbiyele, officially announced the emergence of the candidates after they successfully passed all necessary screenings conducted by the screening committee and received unanimous endorsement from party leaders and members across the Idanre and Ifedore Local Government Areas.

The exercise was monitored by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as well as various security agencies to ensure compliance with electoral laws and the authenticity of the process.

Speaking at the event, Jerome Odesanmi expressed surprise at the impressive turnout of party members despite the short notice given for the exercise.

He encouraged members to remain focused and committed, noting that the party is fully prepared for victory in the forthcoming general elections.

A leader of the party, Mayokun Akinmoladun described the APM primary election as one of the most credible and formidable political processes, stressing that the party remains free from any form of litigation.

Akinmoladun expressed optimism about the party’s chances in the general election, describing the candidates as competent individuals with proven integrity.

“Eniola Oluwatosin is a man of integrity who has seen it all. Hon. Olujide Olurankinse understands the yearnings of our people, while Hon. Sunday Falae is a household name in Ondo State and Nigeria at large. The combination of these three candidates is a major strength that will deliver victory for our party.”

Similarly, the APM House of Assembly candidate, Oluwatosin Eniola, stated that his educational background and wealth of experience give him an edge over other contestants.

Eniola described himself as “a breath of fresh air,” which he said would serve as his campaign slogan.

The candidate assured youths of educational grants, scholarships, skill acquisition empowerment programmes, and support for business owners if elected into office.

He expressed amazement at the peaceful conduct of the primary election and the massive turnout of supporters.

According to him, preparations for the exercise had commenced several days earlier, saying that the success recorded at the primaries is a reflection of what the party should expect in the general election.

Falae said the primary election reflected the yearning of the people for credible candidates capable of delivering quality representation from the Senate, House of Representatives, and State House of Assembly

Among party leaders present at the event were Adekunle Akinlalu, Jerry Odesanmi, Mayokun Akinmoladun, Olatubosun Adegbeyeni, Mercy Akinlami,  Jerome Olamiti, and Bamidele Boluwaji among others.
