Simi Celebrates Mother At 70


Nigerian afrobeats singer, Simi Kosoko, popularly known as Simi on Sunday celebrated her mother, Mrs Jedidiah Olusola’s 70th birthday.

The award-winning artist posted pictures of her mother on Instagram, describing her as her first best friend and said that because she is so important to her, she deserves everything.

According to Simi, the adage “no one loves a person like their mother” is accurate.

She prayed for a long life and the accomplishment of her dreams while thanking her mother for her everlasting support and selflessness.

“My sweet girl is 70 today. Wow. You deserve the world, because you mean the world to me. They say nobody loves you like your mom, and for me, it’s absolutely true.

“Thank you for being there for me in all the ways that matter. My only request from you is that you live forever.

“My prayer for you is that God grants you all the desires of your heart. You’re the most selfless person I know in the world, and may it never be in vain. You look and move fantastic for a 70-year-old babe, and you need to have your birth certificate reexamined.

“Today we party like we ain’t never partied before, my first best friend. By the grace of God, I’m pretty certain I will do anything for you. Cheers Iya mi, Olushola. Happy birthday. Emi a sopo e loruko Jesu. E ma pe fun wa ninu alaafia. I love you, mommy @jedishola,” she wrote.
