Former Minister of Aviation, Senator Stella Oduah, has emerged as the senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for Anambra North Senatorial District.
This development comes as the Special Adviser to Governor Charles Soludo, Dr. Alex Obiogbolu, who is one of the aspirants in the election, accepted the supremacy of the party and urged his supporters to remain loyal despite the outcome of the process.
The National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Mazi Ejimofor Opara, who had warned against believing results issued through social media, confirmed the emergence of Senator Oduah.
“The election was conducted peacefully across all 99 wards in Anambra North Senatorial District, and results were announced at the ward level. While concerns have been raised about some ward outcomes, no results were changed, altered, or swapped at any stage. All results remain as submitted and collated by the duly appointed collation officers for the seven LGAs.”
He listed the verified scores of the aspirants across the seven LGAs as follows:

Opara affirmed that the results are authentic and urged aggrieved aspirants to seek redress through the party’s internal mechanisms rather than social media.
“APGA maintains that only results authenticated through the party’s collation and verification process are valid. Aspirants with grievances are advised to use the internal dispute resolution mechanisms provided in the party’s guidelines.”
He added: “We congratulate the winner of the primary election, Senator Stella Adaeze Oduah, and commend all aspirants for their participation. We also commend party members in Anambra North for conducting themselves in line with the party’s code of conduct,” he said.
