My Next Song Will Talk About Okpebholo’s Administration


Nigerian singer, rapper and hip-hop doyen, Eedris Turayo Abdulkareem Ajenifuja, professionally known as Eedris Abdulkareem, has promised to speak about the Governor of Edo State, Sen. Monday Okpebholo’s administration in his next music.

Abdulkareem stated that his tour of different regions in the state indicated that Governor Okpebholo was delivering results.

He rated the Governor Okpebholo’s administration highly for its infrastructure development.

“I sang about Jagajaga about 25 years ago, but today, former President Olusegun Obasanjo is a campaigner of Jagajaga.

“I have gone round Edo State and have seen what the governor has done for the Edo people. I urge you all to wait, see, and listen to what my music says about the developmental stride of the Edo State governor.

“I speak with my music. I have been in Abia State for the past two months doing a music documentary for Governor Alex Otti, and I will be in Edo State when I am done in Abia State.

Joined by Edo Commissioner for Information and Communication, Prince Kasim Afegbua, Abdulkareem toured initiatives including the Sapele road flyover at Adesuwa junction, road work at NEPA junction, Sapele road, Ramat Park Flyover, and road developments at Temboga, among others.

AbdulKareem mentioned that he plans to go back to Edo State for three weeks to visit various projects and include them in his upcoming music video.

“I will be back in Edo State to spend three weeks going around projects and getting inspired. If I see bad things, I will speak about them, and if I see good things, my music will carry them.

“The government in Edo State is on the right track. I will not speak too much. I speak with my music, and wait for the music video about Edo development to drop.

“I want to tell Governor Monday Okpebholo, thank you for listening to the voice of the people, and thank you for developing the State. I am looking forward to dropping all that I have experienced in Edo State into a musical video.”
