Moyo Lawal Debunks Arrest Of X User Over AI Picture

Nollywood actress Moyo Lawal has debunked the reports making the rounds on social media that she ordered the arrest of a Twitter user over a viral AI-generated picture of herself.

The picture, displaying her face dimmed, triggered harassment and backlash, with certain users blaming her for skin lightening.

A Twitter user, ScoobyDoo, ridiculed her based on the picture and subsequently stated he was arrested and held at Area F in Ikeja for his remarks.

Reacting to the purported report, in a statement issued on her page, Moyo said that she wouldn’t infringe on someone’s rights regarding a humorous picture.

O ti su mi, every week some NEW FALSE narrative why the OBSESSION… please let me breathe. “Let the poor breathe.”
