Kwam 1 Marks Arsenal Title Win With New Song

Nigerian Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde, better known as K1 De Ultimate or Kwam 1, has written a special song for Arsenal FC, in celebration of their English Premier League (EPL) victory after 22 years of waiting.

Tuesday’s 1-1 draw between Manchester City FC and AFC Bournemouth ended Arsenal’s 22-year title wait.

New Telegraph recalls that the last time the Gunners won the league was in 2004.

Arsenal had an unbeatable four-point lead coming into Sunday’s match since their closest competitors were unable to score a victory, preventing the championship battle from going to the season’s final game.

In order to celebrate the Gunners’ long-awaited return to league success, the renowned musician wrote the song.

In a viral studio session posted on Wednesday, the musician rendered some lines over a beat:

“Gunners for life, the wait is over, we are the champions. North London forever, whatever the weather, the streets are our own.

“Gunners for life, the wait is over, we’re the champions. 2026 Premier League champions. Bukayo Saka, Eberechi Eze, Noni Madueke, and Ethan Nwaneri, you’re my heroes. Gunners for life, the wait is over, we’re the champions. K1 De Ultimate, Gunners for life.”

Arsenal’s long-awaited win this season ended a terrible drought dating back to Arsène Wenger’s famed “Invincibles” campaign in 2003/04.

It also marked Mikel Arteta’s first EPL title as manager, finishing the meticulous rebuild he oversaw since his hiring in December 2019.
