Kenny George Drums Support For Toyin Abraham

Nollywood actress Kenny George has thrown her weight behind Toyin Abraham following a recent online controversy from her former protégé, Abike Shugaa.

In an Instagram post on Saturday, George referred to Abraham as a figure of admiration, praising her skill and commitment to work.

She acknowledged the difficulties associated with public observation, saying sentiments shared on social media should not determine a person’s worth.

George emphasised Abraham’s dedication to her role, encouraging her to stay focused and strong, while stressing that her efforts are still acknowledged by a supportive audience.

“My everyday crush @toyin_abraham, I just wanted to remind you how incredibly talented you are. Navigating the ups and downs of social media can be tough, but remember that the opinions of a few don’t define your worth.

Your passion and dedication shine through in everything you do, and you have a whole world that supports you. Keep your chin up! Your talent is undeniable, and the right people see that”, she wrote.

The note arrives soon after content creator and influencer Abike Shugaa, who is also called Pelumi Olawuni, provided a comprehensive narrative of her previous professional association with Toyin Abraham.

In the viral clip, Abike Shugaa shared that the mentorship started well but eventually deteriorated, especially concerning her role in Abraham’s film projects, highlighting issues related to payments and edits to scenes in the final version of Ijakumo.

Toyin Abraham has responded, rejecting some allegations and providing clarification on the specifics of their professional interactions
