Kaduna Climate Group Urges Sustainable Living

The Kaduna State Climate Change Accountability Mechanism (KADCCAM) has felicitated with Muslims across the world on the occasion of 2026 Eid-el-Kabir, urging reflection on environmental protection and sustainable living.

In a Sallah message signed by its Co-Chair, Ibrahima Yakubu, KADCCAM said the season of sacrifice, peace, and compassion should strengthen unity and inspire collective responsibility toward protecting the environment and communities.

“May this sacred season of sacrifice, peace, and compassion strengthen our unity, promote love for humanity, and inspire collective responsibility toward protecting our environment and communities,” the statement read.

The group also called on Nigerians to use the celebration as a reminder of the need for climate action and environmental stewardship for a safer and healthier future.

“As we celebrate, let us also remember the importance of sustainable living, environmental protection, and climate action for a safer and healthier future,” Yakubu said.

KADCCAM concluded the message with “Eid Mubarak,” reaffirming its commitment to “Climate Action and Community Development.”
