I’ll Rather Remain Single Than Settle For Less

Nigerian entrepreneur Adeola Adeyemi, better known as Diiadem, has revealed that she is not ready to compromise her standards in relationships.

Diiadem, who said she is currently single, made this revelation while giving a tour of her home alongside content creator Jarvis.

Speaking on her personal life and how her expectations have changed over time, the 35-year-old businesswoman explained that she believes her success may make some men feel uneasy.

According to her, at this point in her life, she is only open to a partner who significantly matches or surpasses her level.

“I am very single. I feel like most guys are scared of successful women. At this stage in my life, anyone who wants to be with me has to be ten times better,” she said.

Diiadem went on to say she is no longer interested in one-sided relationships where she plays the role of builder or supporter without receiving the same energy in return, adding that she now values balanced growth.

According to her, she is seeking a partner who can contribute just as much to her journey and aspirations, rather than someone who depends solely on her for development.

“Cause I’m actually really done with dullards, people that I am trying to build. I want someone who would build me too. I don’t need someone I’m going to be pouring into, I want someone that will pour into me”, she said.

She emphasised that remaining single is preferable to lowering her expectations, stating clearly: “So I would rather be single than settle for the bare minimum.”
