Arsenal’s all-time leading scorer, Thierry Henry, has thrown down the gauntlet ahead of the decisive title showdown, urging his former side to rise to the occasion against Manchester City.

The club legend also called on the club manager, Mikel Arteta to match his recent words with action, insisting the team must show real hunger and intensity in Sunday’s crucial Premier League clash that could shape the title race.

Speaking in his usual role as a pundit on CBS Sports after Arsenal’s widely criticised 0-0 draw with Sporting CP in the UEFA Champions League, Thierry Henry responded to comments made by manager Mikel Arteta regarding the team’s internal motivation and mentality.
