Financial Demands From Family Members Are Draining- Carter Efe


Nigerian streamer and content creator Carter Efe has addressed the financial pressure he faces from repeated money requests by family members.

Carter Efe’s revelation followed the public exchange involving social media influencer Geh Geh and his sister during a recent livestream.

Reacting to the development, Efe revealed that his relatives consistently approach him for financial support, stressing that some of the requests are so big that it affects his finances.

He revealed that his elder brother once requested N1 million from him, describing the experience as one that significantly affected him financially.

“I have 7 brothers, and they call me every day for money. My senior brother even went as far as asking me to send him 1 million. It affected my whole life,” he said.

He also recounted sending his sister $1,000 to purchase a phone, only to receive another request shortly after for funds to cover her birthday photoshoot.

I sent my sister 1000 dollars to get a phone, 2days after, she called me again to send her money for her birthday photoshoot. It’s draining, and you’ll just be working.”

Efe described the situation as emotionally and financially draining, warning that without clear boundaries, individuals risk working without tangible financial progress due to continuous obligations.
