The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released a list of House of Representatives aspirants who were screened but not cleared to participate in the party’s primary elections.
Among those on the list is former Ondo lawmaker Tajudeen Adefisoye, who represented Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency.
This was contained in a statement issued on Saturday, May 16, 2026, in Abuja, and signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.

According to the party, the aspirants participated in the screening exercise conducted by its committees but did not meet the requirements for clearance.
The APC noted that the screening was carried out in line with its established procedures and guidelines for candidate selection.
The party added that the exercise is part of efforts to ensure transparency and compliance with its internal processes ahead of the primaries.
