APC Extends Forms Sale, Submission Deadlines


In preparation for the upcoming 2027 general elections, the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Monday announced an extension of timelines for the sale and submission of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for aspirants contesting under the party.

In a statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the party said the sale of forms has been extended to midnight, Wednesday, May 6, 2026, while the deadline for submission of completed forms is now midnight, Thursday, May 7, 2026.

The APC also adjusted its screening schedule, which will now take place from Friday, May 8 to Tuesday, May 12, 2026.

According to the party, the list of successfully screened aspirants will be published on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.

The extension is expected to give more prospective candidates the opportunity to complete their documentation and participate in the party’s primary process ahead of the 2027 elections.

It will be recalled that the party had earlier extended its sale of forms to Monday, May 4, 2026 after an approval by the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) at a meeting held at its national secretariat in Abuja.
