The Governorship Candidate of the Action Alliance (AA) in Osun State, Lanre Farinloye, has extended warm greetings and heartfelt felicitations to the Muslim faithful in Osun State, Nigeria, and across the world on the occasion of 2026 Eid-el-Kabir.

In his goodwill message, Farinloye noted that the significance of Ileya lies in the spirit of sacrifice, obedience, and unwavering faith in Allah, as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim (AS).

He called on Muslims to use the holy festival to renew their commitment to peace, national unity, and selfless service to humanity.

“This season reminds us that meaningful leadership is about sacrifice and putting the people first. As we celebrate, I urge all of us to embrace tolerance, support the vulnerable among us, and work hand-in-hand for the progress and socio-economic development of Osun State and Nigeria,” he said.

He prayed that Allah accept the sacrifices and prayers of the faithful, wishing the entire state a peaceful, joyous, and blessed Eid celebration.
