Remi Tinubu Arrives Ekiti On Working Visit


Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu has arrived in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, for a one-day working visit to the State.

Senator Tinubu, who is also the National Chairman of the Renewed Hope Initiative arrived at the Ekiti Airport at exactly 01.09pm on Saturday in a white Airbus flight number 5N-FGY.

The first lady was received by the Governor Biodun Oyebanji, his Ondo State counterpart, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the wife of the Ekiti State Governor, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji, Deputy Governor, Chief (Mrs) Monisade Afuye, Senate leader, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele and members of the state executive council.

The First Lady was accompanied by the wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima; some wives of state governors, as well as some top officials.

Senator Tinubu was treated to a rich Ekiti culture by members of the State Performing Arts Company on arrival at the airport.

Other Dignitaries on Senator Tinubu’s entourage include the Minister of Women Affairs, Hajia Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim; the wife of the Deputy Senate President, Hajia Laila Barau; the wife of the Chief of Staff, Mrs Salamatu Gbajabiamila and the w lolife of the Speaker, House of Representatives, Hajia Aisha Tajuudeen Abbas among others.

Immediately after the airport protocol, the First Lady proceeded to the Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, where she was billed to commission an ICT Centre facilitated by her Renewed Hope Initiative.
