Nigerian hip-hop artiste, Panshak Henry Zamani, widely known as Ice Prince, has responded to criticism on his performance at the 2026 national convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Ice Prince has been criticized for attending a partisan gathering, with detractors saying he should instead be demanding accountability from the government amid economic hardship and insecurity.

In response, Ice Prince clarified on the Black Box podcast that he performed due of his close relationship with Nentawe Yilwatda, the APC National Chairman.
He explained that Yilwatda, who is his uncle booked him for the occasion.
“Who booked me for that event? My uncle – Nentawe Yilwatda who is the APC Chairman. He is not just a random person to me. He is my real uncle,” he explained.
