Folarin Hails Peaceful Oyo APC Primaries, Drums Support For Tinubu’s Re-election 


The All Progressives Congress (APC) Coordinator and Collation Officer for the presidential primary election in Oyo State, Senator Teslim Folarin, has said that the affirmation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the presidential candidate of the party for the 2027 general elections across the 351 wards in the 33 Local Government Areas rof Oyo State is a reflection of the positive impact of his administration on Nigerians over the last three years.

Folarin said this was evident during the APC presidential primary elections held across various wards in the state, where party stakeholders and loyalists turned out in large numbers to participate in the exercise.

He said President Tinubu deserved a second term in office, stressing that the continuity of his administration would further strengthen good governance and sustain the delivery of democratic dividends to Nigerians.

Folarin noted that the peaceful and orderly conduct of the exercise across the state demonstrated the unity, loyalty, and commitment of party members toward the success of the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He commended the impressive turnout of party faithful during the primaries, describing it as a clear indication of confidence in the leadership of the ruling party and the administration of President Tinubu.

According to him, the enthusiasm displayed by APC members reflected their readiness to work collectively toward greater electoral success in 2027.

The former Majority Leader in the Senate also urged party leaders and supporters to intensify efforts in taking the achievements, policies, programmes, and developmental strides of President Tinubu’s administration to the grassroots for wider public awareness.

As Nigerians await the official declaration of the APC presidential primary election results, stakeholders and party supporters expressed optimism that President Tinubu and the APC would continue to meet the expectations of the people through impactful leadership and people-oriented policies.
