APM Candidate, Adeoye Declares Gov’ship Ambition


The governorship candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Laja Adeoye, has formally declared his intention to contest the 2027 Lagos State Governorship election.

He made the declaration at Ward F5 in Ejigbo, Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Area of Lagos State.

Adeoye, accompanied by a strong entourage, sought the blessings and support of party elders, leaders, and members of the PDP/APM Alliance at the ward level.

The event drew a massive turnout of enthusiastic supporters, reaffirming the growing momentum behind his “Reset Lagos” agenda.

Welcoming the candidate, the apex leader of Ward F5, Engr. Adedeji Canon expressed excitement and offered fervent prayers for the success of the project.

Other top leaders in attendance included Barr. Dr Amos FaDre, State Chairman, PDP/APM Alliance, Mrs ShakirMrsdeyemo, Lagos State Chairperson, APM and Hon. Waheed Abdulkareem, Ward F5 Chairman and Host.

Adeoye briefed the gathering on his vision for a Reset Lagos codenamed Atunto Eko 1.0, after which the leaders and members gave loud and unanimous affirmation of their total support for his ambition.

In a message of appreciation after the event, the PDP/APM Alliance Chairman for Ejigbo LCDA, Hon. Waheed Kareem, said: “On behalf of the leadership and people of Ejigbo LCDA, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made today’s event a resounding success.

“Special appreciation goes to our State Chairman, Dr Fawole, and Dr State and LGA executives; our respected leaders and elders who turned out in full force to support our dear son, Prince Laja Adeoye; and the good people of Ejigbo LCDA who came out with energy and unity.

“To Prince Laja Adeoye, let this be clear: Ejigbo LCDA stands firmly behind you. We are united in purpose and will work tirelessly to ensure your victory in 2027. This is just the beginning.”

Adeoye thanked the leaders and people of Ejigbo for their overwhelming reception, describing the declaration as a homecoming that has further strengthened his resolve to deliver good governance to Lagos State.
