‘I Left Obi To Join Tinubu, So That I Won’t Lose’- Chief Priest


Nigerian celebrity barman and businessman Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has revealed why he changed from supporting 2023 Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi to President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Speaking with popular Nigerian content creator and streamer Peller, Cubana Chief Priest said he left Obi’s camp to avoid another political defeat.

New Telegraph recalls that Chief Priest was one of the prominent celebrities who backed and campaigned for Obi during the 2023 presidential election.

Ahead of the next election cycle, he has declared support for Tinubu.

“I left Obi because I don’t want to lose again, because they say first fool no be fool na the second fool be proper fool. Tinubu will still win”, he said.

Chief Priest currently serves as a coordinator for the City Boys Movement, a grassroots mobilisation group launched by Seyi Tinubu for the 2027 election.
