The Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Hon. Prince Adedayo Ladega, has congratulated Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru and Hon. Babajimi Benson following their victories at the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Akeem Mustapha, Ladega described Senator Abiru’s emergence as the APC flag bearer for Lagos East Senatorial District as a reflection of the confidence, acceptance, and widespread support he enjoys across the district.

The Chairman commended the Senator’s record of legislative excellence, purposeful leadership, and commitment to grassroots development, noting that his affirmation was well deserved.

Ladega also applauded Rep. Babajimi Benson on his overwhelming victory at the House of Representatives primaries, describing the outcome as a strong endorsement of his impactful service, accessibility, and people-oriented leadership across Ikorodu Federal Constituency.

According to the chairman, the victories recorded by both lawmakers reaffirm the trust and confidence the people continue to repose in their leadership.
